Valerie Zaks is a mother of three sons and has one granddaughter. An artist and a longshorewoman in the ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach with ILWU, she is loving and hardworking and her quest for sisterhood has become priority. She is enthusiastic about the potential for Union Women in Solidarity to gain traction and uplift women from all walks of life.
